“How to Grow Orchids at Home”

Isabel Lopatin, long time orchid grower, member of the Mid-Hudson Orchid Society, and President of the Encyclia Society (a prominent genus of orchids), an affiliated organization of the American Orchid Society, will give a talk and slide presentation on the above subject. Her talk will include tips and techniques for how to best care for these lovely and exotic flowers in a typical indoor environment. Isabel is also planning to bring a selection of potted orchids, some in bloom, many in bud, as part of the demonstration. Many of these plants will be available for sale after the presentation for prices in the range of $10 - $18.
