Tom & Kathy Rood , nationally known daylily hybridizers, and owners of Grace Gardens will talk on:

"Daylily Cultivation and Hybridizing"

The Rood’s produce 5,000 seedlings annually at Grace Gardens in Penn Yan, NY.  Their 57 acre farm includes a five acre AHS display garden and features over 1800 named cultivars.  Tom and Kathy founded the Finger Lakes Daylily Society, and travel putting on garden judging workshops.  Tom has served as Newsletter Editor, and RVP for AHS Region 4.  Kathy is an accomplished water color artist and skilled in making black ash splint Shaker style basketry.  Her daylily specialty is miniature and small flowered daylilies and maintains a collection of over 200 Pauline Henry Siloam daylilies.
