"Stout Daylilies"

The late Dr. Arlow Stout of the New York Botanical Gardens was one of the

first hybridizers of the Hemerocallis.  His old cultivars are beautiful as well as extremely hardy and reliable bloomers.  Almost all the modern hybrids have at least one Stout ancestor.  Come find out what wonderful characteristics were bred into the daylilies

from the very beginning by this amazing plantsman and hybridizing pioneer!

All HVIDS activities are open to the general public.  Please join us.
